Academy Security Training is licensed in San Diego County as license #TFF 1211 by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. The office / classroom is located in 702 Civic Center Drive in Oceanside and is depicted in the adjacent picture. It is freeway-close and only a minute or two away from the I-5. Exit either off the Mission Avenue or N. Coast Highway exits.

Oceanside Civic Center

Directly across the street from our Oceanside office building is the Oceanside Civic Center. Please don't park on the Public Parking area which is intended for City Hall business. There is plenty of parking on Ditmar Street, which intersects with Civic Center Drive.

This is a pleasant, safe area. Although we are adjacent to Civic Center, traffic is very light here.

There is street sweeping on Ditmar Street and other adjacent streets on the first and third Mondays of the month from 6am to 9am. However, this should be of no concern to Tuesday / Thursday and Friday students. On Thursdays, there is an open air market at Civic Center which starts at 9am. Even then, there is no traffic congestion.

Oceanside Beach and Pier

The wonderful Oceanside beach and pier are only a few blocks away and easily within walking distance. Before or after instruction, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of what Oceanside has to offer.

Our office building is also close to downtown shopping and major bus lines.

Students from everywhere in California are welcome to attend our courses. We have flexible course schedules that allows students from far and wide to attend our courses. Come in for a weekend if you can't make weekdays. Some courses are held up to 10pm in the evening. We will be happy to refer you to another facility that is more convenient for you. Also, we can conduct our multi-state CCW course to large groups in any of the locations below and anywhere. Please call and inquire.
